You're entitled to your opinion, but the evidence supports that Gearbox is not controlled by Epic. They made it very clear that they don't like this platform at all. They also don't like steam and made a big fuss about that when they spoke on the Epic exclusive deal. But Gearbox have already shown that if a company is willing to just buy their game outright, they will sell it. Gearbox worked for 2k games when they made Borderlands 3 as well. There is a very good chance it is Epic exclusive again and they are just advertising it here like last time because they know it won't get as many eyes on it if they just put it on the Epic games storeĬonsidering Gearbox is working for 2K games, that seems unlikely.
